Phil and Kat’s Málaga Wedding
Part 1: The Arrival
I have known Kat for a few years now, having met her at the start of this amazing journey that is self employment when she was presenting a seminar at Glyndwr university, that was way back in 2009. Since then we have become great friends and I am proud to have worked with her on many amazing projects, from styled shoots for venues….where she became a stunning bride for just a few hours, to advertising shoots for caravan water butts…..yup….water butts!! To beautiful and amazing Golf clubs and a whole collection of weddings. Kat has been undoubtedly my No1 fan….so much so she even christened me “Photo Phil”….spreading the word of my work to all her friends and her Sister too.
So you can see, there is much I have to thank Kat for, her desire and vision for perfection can be seen in her own work too. PromoFix is her baby, and has become an amazing success due to Kat’s vision and drive. So when this amazing and beautiful lady asked me to capture her’s and Phil’s special day, it was without thinking…add into that the fact it was in Málaga doubly so!! The beautiful old town of Málaga was where we met, two days before the wedding. Here we stopped for some pre wedding lovelyness before heading out to the amazing La Bobadilla, a beautiful and amazingly gorgeous gem set in the heart of the Andalusian mountains.
But first…..the pre wedding shoot…
Málaga
A gorgeous old town that is stepped in history, a really beautiful setting that gave us a real treat, the relaxed Spanish people paid little, or no, heed to the mad english trio running around in the hot midday sun, whilst taking pictures. I am sure they witness this fairly often in all honesty, so we were able to simply relax and get some gorgeous pictures.
As you can clearly see, these are one of life’s truly lovely couples…I had an absolute blast running around in 34C of searing heat….with these two, as did one of their friends….who’s name escapes me right now, but you know who you are, and I thank you for your camera carrying capabilities….especially given the fact I was in full man flu mode too!!
Part 2 of this amazing 4 day wedding coming up….get ready for some serious partying skills 🙂
