A Stunning Bridal Barn Wedding

I was so pleased when I was asked to capture this beautiful Barn wedding set right in the heart of Shropshire. Not only was this my first time at the incredible Bridal Barns, it was also the wedding of someone I know very well. Bex is someone who is well known in the wedding industry being the face of Peter Posh, a fellow wedding supplier . So she knows her “onions” so to speak when it comes to choosing the people who were to make her day extra special.

The Wedding Ceremony

These guys decided to have a traditional Church wedding to start their married life together, a stunning little Shropshire Church that really had a beautiful significance to the happy couple. It literally is in walking distance of their home, so was the perfect place to me married.

Given the close proximity of the Church to their home, Bex decided to make the short walk with her bridesmaids. This was quite the journey as it turned out, like all good Shropshire weddings it seems, the weather was unpredictable and it decided to start raining as the bridal party made their way.

What a joyful, if slightly wet, start to the day for Bex. I absolutely love it when brides take the brave decision to make a short walk to the Church. It is a rare occasion, but one that I always look forward to. Over the years I have seen some amazing scenes and captured some incredible images from this little journey. As for the rest of Bex and Chris’s wedding it was simply beautiful, the sun shone, the storm clouds receded and although it remained fairly cloudy, it afforded us some incredible images.
