Trevor Hall Wedding Photographer
In the cold month of February, a lovely couple gathered their nearest and dearest to enjoy the North Wales countryside and join them in their wish to renew their wedding vows. The incredible Trevor Hall, high on a Llangollen valley side, was the setting for this amazing Winter-Hollywood-Glam wedding renewal.
Why Llangollen?
Why we chose Llangollen, and Trevor Hall
There are many reasons for this, two things though stood out: Llangollen and Trevor Hall reminded me of a place I had in Portugal, which my mom loved. We don’t have this place anymore and my mom passed away when I was 18, so Trevor Hall and Llangollen became special very quickly the second being everyone we met in the process. Everyone was just so nice and special.

Nuno and Maria wanted to enjoy their day and their photography had to have a strong natural documentary feel to it. My work is exactly that, I love capturing natural, unposed moments that tell a story.
Here are Maria’s own thoughts on why she, and Nuno, chose PbArtWorks.
Why we chose PbArtWorks:
We wanted someone to capture our story, that listened and cared that we were celebrating so much in one single day. As we didn’t even have pictures of when we got married 20 years ago, this was super important for us. And suffice to say, you really over delivered on this! It is truly phenomenal work!! Every time we look at the pictures, we can really feel the 25 years of story we have together, the love we still have for each other, and how blessed we are to have friends and family celebrating with us such a special moment. Thank you Phil, for giving us something that is better than what we dreamed 20 years ago! 🙂
The light in Trevor Hall is truly a photographers dream, it creates such a gorgeous delicate softness that lends itself to creating beautiful almost “painterly” imagery.
Trevor Hall is just incredible to work at, the light it afforded me was a photographer’s dream. The details and sense of time, is just gorgeous.
As the day progressed and the relaxed, informal wedding renewal day proceeded, a sense of warmth between Maria, Nuno and their suppliers really became more and more apparent. I felt so privileged to be there, quietly capturing the day, loving all the emotions and joy so openly displayed.
I love capturing all the aspects of the day, working with both the bride and groom is just amazing. Taking in all the moments as both bride, and groom, prepare for the wedding.
A rare moment for any wedding photographer is the bride and groom meeting before the wedding itself. Or in Maria and Nuno’s case, their vow renewal. A great time to grab a few couple shots too.
Now was the perfect time for Maria and Nuno to relax with their guests and grab a few more portraits too.
The one remarkable feature that Trevor Hall has, is a beautiful little chapel on their grounds. The perfect place for a wedding.
The most amazing end to a beautiful day was a surprise to all, a private recital by a talented opera singer. What an end to my first wedding of 2022.
