A Magical Castle Wedding In Shropshire
I do love a good old-fashioned castle wedding so when Abi and Johnny invited me along to capture their special day at Rowton Castle, I was absolutely thrilled. To say it was a wonderful day is truly an understatement, it was all that and more. Just perfect in every way. Abi decided she wanted me for her wedding many moons ago….in fact, here’s what Abi wrote in her review for me.
Phil has been incredible. He photographed someone I knew and I was so amazed by his images that I stopped looking for a photographer there and then. That was three and a half years before I got married, and a year before I got engaged. I booked him second to my venue and before the registrars!
When we met Phil, immediately I felt at ease and felt a connection – I knew our images were going to be something special. And boy, Phil doesn’t disappoint!
We had a few meetings at both my parent’s house (where I was getting ready) and at our venue and throughout Phil has brought passion and excitement. His energy is infectious, he’s insightful and considered too which builds trust that he is THE expert.
On the day, he was brilliant. Fun, excitable but professional throughout. Although, we were instructed to ignore him it’s hard when he’s so much fun! He got the best out of everyone and all our guests praised his attitude and energy, nothing was too much trouble and every image he put his mind to capturing garnered his full concentration.
His love of what he does oozes out of him and it’s his passion that infiltrates his images. They rise above a ‘wedding photograph’ and transcend into art, art that you can be lucky enough to have grace your walls. I consider myself very blessed to have stumbled upon his work.
