The Charming Wedding of Hamish and Georgia

A beautiful wedding day, back in March, spent with Georgia and Hamish at the incredible Shropshire wedding venue of Iscoyd Park.

Iscoyd Park set within a landscaped garden in Shropshire, featuring multiple arched windows and a gravel driveway in the foreground on a sunny day.

This is one of my most favourite of wedding venues and when Georgia got in touch to tell me all about her wedding plans, I was thrilled, especially as Georgia and Hamish were to get married at the stunning little St Mary’s Church at Whitewell where Rev Veronica always makes you feel so welcome. Rev Veronica’s presence is always such a wonderful part of any wedding, so I knew straight away, how relaxed and incredibly beautiful, the ceremony would be.

A classic car is parked outside a small Shropshire church with a clock tower. People are gathered near the entrance, and a priest is standing by, reminiscent of the timeless elegance found at nearby Iscoyd Park.

First on the agenda was to stop at the little lodge nearby to grab a few frames of the bridal party before they made their way to Iscoyd Park itself.

The Bridal Suite

Once Georgia and her bridesmaids arrived at Iscoyd Park it was straight to the amazing bridal suite to continue the bridal preparations. This room never fails to impress, from the ornate mirror that adorns the wall, to the impressive four poster bed. It truly is amazing. The perfect place to get ready and for the Father of the bride to see his beautiful daughter.

The Library

Hamish and his groomsmen arrived to get ready at Iscoyd Park and headed to the beautiful Library Room, this is the perfect space for the guys to get ready and affords a stunning backdrop for some photo opportunities.

The mode of transport for the Groom was a stunning Ford Mustang in amazing gold and black. The roar of this car is nothing short of incredible, a beautiful way form the groom to leave Iscoyd park for the short journey to St Mary’s Church at Whitewell.

St Mary’s Church

The wedding service was to take place not at Iscoyd Park, but rather at a quaint little Church nearby at Whitewell. It is a stunning, picturesque little Church nestled in the wonderful Shropshire countryside. As Georgia and her Father made their way down the gorgeous staircase I made my way there to capture the bride’s arrival.

Iscoyd Park

I cannot thank Hamish and Georgia enough for their faith and trust, it truly was a beautiful start to the seasons weddings. I have had a blast this year, one with many highlights already. But making a welcome return to this incredible venue will rank highly among my highlights for 2024.
